On January 27, Jiangnan University leaders visited Dauphin Smarts for the inauguration of their jointly established off-campus teaching internship base, marking the official launch of university-enterprise cooperation.
On the morning of January 27, Zhu Fei, Standing Member of the Jiangnan University Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, together with Zhang Hua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Automation and Intelligence Science at Jiangnan University, and other leaders, visited Jiangsu Dauphin Smart Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Xinji Town, Yizheng City, to inaugurate the off-campus teaching internship base jointly built by the two parties. Gu Wei, Standing Deputy Director of the Yizheng Municipal Party Committee Organization Department, Shu Yuliang, Secretary of the Xinji Town Party Committee, and Yin Dabiao, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, also attended the event.
During the visit, Zhu Fei and the delegation toured the company's production workshop and R&D center, paying special attention to the operating scenarios of the ground-rail welding robot, the mobile tank-type welding robot and other core products, and learned in detail about the company's R&D achievements and development plans in AI welding systems and teach-free programming technologies.
In the round-table session, the two sides held in-depth discussions on smart welding technology breakthroughs, building an industry-academia-research integration platform, and joint cultivation of professional talent. The university and the company then unveiled the cooperation base together, agreeing to use this partnership as an opportunity to share resources and complement each other's strengths.
Shu Yuliang congratulated the successful launch of the university-enterprise cooperation, emphasizing that the town Party committee and government will fully support the project, provide all-round assurance for the joint development of the two sides, help Dauphin Smart accelerate technological iteration and industrial upgrading, drive high-quality development of the town's smart equipment industry, and inject new momentum into local economic growth.
