On May 16, the 2026 "Jiangsu Products" Championship Yangzhou VS Zhenjiang opened. Dauphin Smarts AI autonomous decision mobile welding robot ignited the "Smart Future" exhibition area.
On May 16, the air in Yangzhou was filled with two distinctly different yet equally fervent festive atmospheres.
The first was inside the Yangzhou Stadium, where the "Jiangsu Super League" hosted a focus match between Yangzhou and Zhenjiang. Before kickoff, a giant steamer and the aroma of Yangzhou fried rice set the mood for fans. The second came from the South Plaza of Mingyue Lake, where the 2026 "Jiangsu Products – Must Buy, Must Take" Championship Yangzhou vs. Zhenjiang Special opened with great fanfare. If the pitch belonged to the athletes, this plaza was the stage for Jiangsu's smart manufacturing and local specialties.

Witnessed by leaders including Bian Yibin, Second-Level Inspector of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce; Luo Xueming, Vice Mayor of Yangzhou; Chen Peng, Party Committee Member and Vice President of ABC Jiangsu Branch; and Hang Chunyan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Xinhua Daily, products from both cities competed side by side. Across six showcase tracks, one robot in the "Smart Future" pavilion stole much of the spotlight that would normally belong to football stars: Jiangsu Dauphin Smart's "AI Autonomous Decision-Making Mobile Welding Robot" — a homegrown product that frees traditional industry from heavy investment and finally removes the dependency on master welders.
If your impression of welding is still "showering sparks, sweating workers, and leveling by feel," the system Dauphin brought is, by industry standards, a complete dimensional shift.
1. No longer "blind eyes, slow brain": it has eyes that think
Traditional robots fear non-standard parts the most. For multi-variety, small-batch steel structures, they typically require tedious programming and teaching. Dauphin's welding robot, by contrast, is an "AI vision honor student." It scans workpieces with a 3D camera, instantly captures weld seam features, plans the welding path autonomously without manual programming, and adjusts in real time even when workpieces are misaligned or incoming materials vary. It "sees with its eyes and calculates in its mind."

2. No "shaky hands, clumsy feet": precise mobility, refined heavy work
At the championship venue, Dauphin showcased its powerful mobile platform. Heavy steel welding suffers when workpieces are too heavy to move and conditions are too harsh. This robot moves autonomously next to large workpieces and welds exactly where it is told. Even amid showering sparks, multi-modal sensor data keeps welding precision at millimeter level. As an on-site engineer put it: "Give it a single command and it gives you a perfect weld — three times faster than a human, and it never tires."
3. Cracking the "bottleneck" pain points: stepping over the threshold
"Make no welding job hard anywhere in the world." That may be Dauphin's most appealing pitch. Amid Jiangsu's manufacturing transformation, the difficulty of recruiting senior welders and the high cost of labor are universal pain points. Dauphin's in-house AI decision system is the first of its kind in China, designed for non-standard welding. Even better, the company opens its core software for free to domestic robots. This "stand together, conquer smart manufacturing together" philosophy was vividly embodied at the "Jiangsu Products" stage — Jiangsu manufacturing must be strong, and must take the entire industrial chain along.

As night fell and the "Jiangsu Super League" showdown unfolded inside the stadium, the "Jiangsu Products" matrix of more than 200 enterprises from Zhenjiang and Yangzhou was simultaneously reviewed by the public. Here visitors found the fresh flavor of Tundao puffer fish, the century-old Hengshun aromatic vinegar, and forward-looking smart products such as Dauphin welding robots, Weihang RVs, and Ximi AI glasses.
This was a three-dimensional feast of "sports + consumption + culture." Dauphin Smart's emergence is no accident; it reflects the evolving image of "Jiangsu Products" — leaping from traditional silk, cuisine, and time-honored brands to new energy vehicles, artificial intelligence, and high-end equipment as new productive forces.
As fans held cartons of Yangzhou fried rice and watched a robot perform "embroidery-grade" welding by Mingyue Lake, the festive cheer took on new meaning: "Yangzhou steamed buns guarantee a win; Jiangsu Smart Manufacturing welds — and shakes — the future!"
