Dauphin Smarts Wins Outstanding Project Award at 2023 Jiangsu SME Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition

On August 9, the 8th "Maker China" & 2023 Jiangsu Province SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Yangzhou Regional Competition was held at Yangzhou Mingyue Lake Hotel.

After expert preliminary review, on-site demonstration and defense, the "Dauphin Smarts - AI Autonomous Decision Welding System Leader" project stood out from the preliminary round to enter the Yangzhou regional competition. Dauphin Smarts competed with all participating enterprises and makers from across the city.

Dauphin Smarts Marketing Manager Li Xin presented the project in detail from four aspects: market analysis, product introduction, company introduction, and marketing operations.

Policy support for intelligent manufacturing, combined with declining labor population and doubling labor costs over 10 years, has shortened the ROI period for welding robots to 1 year. Compared to standardized welding in automotive and other mass-production industries, non-standard welding industries represented by steel structure, shipbuilding, and petrochemical feature small batches and multiple varieties.

The industry faces difficulties in recruiting welders and high labor costs, while traditional welding robots have high fixture requirements and complex programming. End customers are caught in the dilemma of high manual welding costs versus inefficient traditional robots.
