
A six-axis robot hangs from the end of a column cantilever and travels along a 12 m ground rail as the seventh axis, with a 2.4 m cantilever working range, approaching seams from above to avoid fixture and side-wall interference.
The 7-axis cantilever welding robot uses a column plus cantilever beam structure, with the six-axis robot body hung at the beam end and the whole unit travelling along a ground rail as the seventh motion axis. Approaching the seam from above, it effectively avoids interference from fixtures and workpiece side walls, markedly improving reachability.
The welding power source and control cabinet travel with the column. Together with the Dauphin teach-free welding system and an arm-mounted vision sensor, it delivers automatic seam finding and autonomous path planning — suited to medium and large boxes, tanks and plate assemblies needing multi-angle, wide-area coverage.
